A mudslide triggered by heavy rainfall in Coquitlam, B.C., has left several residents displaced and searching for answers, with some pointing to major construction projects on the slope above as a possible factor. Now that the people are no longer missing, their identity is no longer in the public interest. An Amber Alert issued after two young children were reported missing on Saturday in Trois-Rivières, Que., about 150 kilometres northeast of Montreal, has ended. The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) said on Sunday morning that both children were found safe and sound in Saint-Paulin, northwest of Trois-Rivières. A suspect was arrested and is expected to meet with investigators later in the day, the SQ said. The alert was issued at about 4 a.m.
