According to a press release signed by Supreme Court Public Relations Officer Md Shafiqul Islam, the meeting was held yesterday at 4:00 pm at the Judges' Lounge of the Supreme Court with the participation of High Court Division judges. The meeting decided that the civil vacation of subordinate courts would be observed in two phases instead of a continuous one-month break. At the meeting, the Chief Justice briefed the judges on the activities and progress of the Supreme Court Secretariat. The press release further said that once construction is completed, the Supreme Court Secretariat will operate from the second, third and fourth floors of the Supreme Court Record Building.

Jahangir Alam Chowdhury has warned that strict action will be taken against election officials and law enforcement personnel if any irregularities occur at polling stations during the 13th national election, including ballot box snatching or fake voting. Chowdhury said body-worn cameras, CCTV, and drones are being used to ensure transparency, alongside the Election Security App developed by the National Telecommunication Monitoring Center (NTMC). The app will be activated once presiding officers and Ansar members depart for polling stations with election materials, he added.
