Litchi farmers Mokbul Hossain, Arman Ali, Mohibur Rahman, Mominul Haque, Amenur Rahman and Mukul; Hossain of different villages in Rangpur Sadar upazila expressed satisfaction over excellent flowering in their litchi trees. Deputy Director of the Burirhat Horticulture Center of the DAE in Rangpur Dr Md Abu Sayem said marvelous blooming in litchi trees is predicting a bumper production of the fruit this season. Police’s Anti-Terrorism Unit has filed a charge sheet against 25 people, including ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina, in a case over the killing of 24-year-old Abuzar Sheikh in Gulshan during the July movement.
