The two sentenced to death in the murder case are Mishu, 19, and Pinki, 30, both residents of Khadail village in Badalgachi. In the rape case, Morshed, 35, and Rabiul, 38, of Manda Upazila received life in prison. According to the murder case dossier, on Nov 7, 2020, 14-year-old Nazmul Hossain was lured into a love trap and kidnapped. The woman later turned to the law and filed a case against Rabiul, Morshed, and another woman.
