In this new suit, Dalbón is accusing Stolbizer of conspiracy and extortion due to her alleged collaboration with Bonadio, who is investigating CFK in a separate case. According to media reports, Stolbizer asked the former president to drop the suit against her, but CFK insisted that she would continue. She also said she was preparing to submit a request to prosecutor Carlos Rívolo to summon the former president, lawmaker Máximo Kirchner and others for alleged money laundering in the “Los Sauces” case. “I will destroy who is in front of me and says these barbarities that she (Fernández de Kirchner) is corrupt, because she isn’t,” Dalbón told Radio Splendid yesterday. After the mediation hearing, Stolbizer announced she would counter the former president’s claims by filing a counter-suit against her for infringement of rights.

Tuesday, August 9, 2016 Trump resets campaign with tax u-turnRepublican US presidential nominee Donald Trump speaks to the Detroit Economic Club at the Cobo Center in Detroit, Michigan, yesterday. “Now the whole party is unified with a tax message,” said Trump economic policy adviser Stephen Moore. With few exceptions, Trump provided more of a philosophical basis for an economic plan than a series of specifics. That would be a major drop from the current 35 percent corporate tax rate, though many companies pay much less because of various deductions. In a shift from the plan he proposed during the primary season, he increased the tax rate that the highest-earning US citizens would pay.

Louisa, Marie-Pierre and I came to Buenos Aires with our backpacks alone and met each other in Buenos Aires. Like lot of projects, Feria Piaf was born in a bar in Palermo. Le Local is the brainchild of three French women who came to Buenos Aires for various reasons but all realized — like most chicas kicking around down here — they had far too many clothes and simply nothing to wear. Thus Feria Piaf (the store’s predecessor) was born. It’s been four years now… Louisa left one year ago and lives in New York now, Marie-Pierre and I remain here in Buenos Aires, keeping this beautiful project alive.

Now the Games are here, and with that debut comes a renewed sense of possibility and hope — a feeling that perhaps Brazil has finally arrived. As a nation, Brazil should have the opportunity to show our rise, resilience and, yes, the shortcomings that remain. As I watched my first Olympics on TV, Brazil suffered even more than it does now. He is a native of São Paulo, based now in Rio de Janeiro. In modern times, Brazil had bid — and lost out — on the games three other times, for 2000, 2004 and 2012.

As newspapers painted a grim portrait of what was supposed to be a calamitous Olympics, Brazilians braced themselves for the criticism. So, what’s so wrong about Brazilians voicing their frustration with signs reading “Out with Temer” at these Olympic games? If the Olympics games are a celebration of human endurance and spirit, shouldn’t Brazilians stand up for their rights and get some recognition for fighting for their right to freedom of speech? In 1936, Ireland refused to attend the Olympic Games in protest of the country’s independence. So they obviously took it to the games, to stadiums and to every Olympic event to get the message out.
