Early next calendar year three of Indo-Nepal road connectivity projects are to witness the commencement of ground works. The three projects are – Mechi River Bridge, Piprakothi-Raxaul Highway, and Mirganj Bridge. A review meeting was held by Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH) to check the status of these three projects. “Mechi River Bridge project is to be implemented at the Indo-Nepal border is on track. National Highways Authority of India has done a survey of Mirganj Bridge that is part of National Highway 57A.
