ISLAMABAD: State Minister for Communications and Minister for Postal Services Murad Saeed took oath as Federal Minister here on Monday. President Dr Arif Alvi administered the oath to him at a ceremony held at the Aiwan-e-Sadr. Earlier last week, Prime Minister (PM) of Pakistan Imran Khan had reviewed the performance of 26 of his ministers in a special federal cabinet meeting that went on for nine hours. Speaking to the media, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry said the PM had lauded the Murad’s performance in achieving the targets set under the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) agenda after which it was decided that Murad should be promoted.
