Sathish, eminent expatriate journalist covering West Asia, is no more. According to reports reaching here, Sathish, who had gone to Dubai on a tourist visa on Tuesday, had suffered a massive cardiac arrest. Born to an agriculturist family at Ithithanam, near here, Sathish completed his postgraduation from the School of International Relations, Mahatma Gandhi University, with first rank. Sathish started his journalistic career in Mumbai, and moved to Oman Daily Observer, Muscat, as a business reporter later. Known for his independent views and sharp reporting, Sathish has brought out a collection of his reports titled Distressing Encounters.
