Pol Lt Gen Yingyos Thepjamnong, the assistant commissioner-general and RTP spokesman, said on Saturday Pol Gen Kittharath Punpetch, the chief of police, has ordered crackdowns on online fraud, dismantling criminal networks and cutting off financial routes. Scammers typically begin by exploiting leaked personal data, such as names and former workplaces, to appear credible, Pol Lt Gen Yingyos said.
