President William Ruto has asked the youthful protesters popularly known as Gen Zs to come out and state their plan as they push for change in government through street protests. I have told them, that if they have an alternative plan, let them come out and tell Kenyans their alternative plan, let them not cause chaos and anarchy. If they have a plan let them tell us," Ruto said. Ruto has on several occasions questioned the aftermath of the Gen Z demonstrations as the protesters have vowed to continue demanding accountability and good governance. "We will never allow a few people to cause mayhem, anarchy, destroy properties, burn down government buildings and cause problems in the country," Ruto said.
