BALIK PULAU: While there are many ways to express our patriotism and love for the country, kindergarten teacher Normala Md Desa, 58, chooses to decorate her front yard every year with hundreds of mini Jalur Gemilang flags. “This is the way I express my patriotism, by flying as many Jalur Gemilang flags as possible in August. “National Day will not be the same without our national flags being paraded,” she said when met at her house in Kampung Perlis here recently. “I love National Day. “I will continue to parade my Jalur Gemilang decorated bicycle until Aug 31,” he said.
