Chelsea are hoping to sign both Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise and Burnley goalkeeper James Trafford, though need a new manager first as they close in on top target Enzo Maresca of Leicester in the race to succeed Mauricio Pochettino, who, along with Thomas Frank, has been sounded out to potentially replace Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford with a decision over the Dutchman’s future expected this week following an end-of-season review. Kieran McKenna is now understood to be out of the race, but Roberto De Zerbi is an option.
