When Scott and Lisa Melton were looking to move to a small town, they fell in love with Beatrice. Which is why Beatrice Liquidation opened Wednesday at the corner of Fifth and Court streets in the former Sisters Emporium location. Lisa Melton worked in a clinic and hospitals. Scott Melton worked for newspapers for almost 30 years, including at the Omaha World-Herald. Scott Melton said Beatrice Liquidation won't be like most liquidation stores.
