Several poultry farms in Ghana aim to provide various poultry products to the public. One of these farms is Darko Farms and Co. Ltd, which has gained a reputation in Ghana and West Africa since its establishment in 1967. Darko Farms is the largest privately-owned poultry farm in Ghana, catering to both local and export markets. Dr. Kwabena Darko is the founder and Chairman of Darko Farms and Co. Ltd. Upon his return to Ghana, Dr. Darko worked at the Ghana State Farms Corporation on a newly-started poultry project for Africa.
