So far, 419 students from 22 countries have confirmed their participation, with international delegations set to jet in on Wednesday night in readiness for the one-day event. Countries that have confirmed participation include Chile, Uganda, Qatar, China, England, Ireland, Morocco, Tanzania, Rwanda, Kenya, Namibia, Mexico, the Czech Republic, New Zealand, Nigeria, Croatia, Turkey, Luxembourg, Uganda,Uganda and host Kenya. The championships are organised by the Ministry of Education in collaboration with Athletics Kenya.
