The Traffic Affairs Office of the Tripoli Security Directorate announced on Thursday new regulations governing truck access to the highway, stating that trucks will be permitted to operate only between 7:00 am and 3:00 pm. According to a statement published on the directorate’s Facebook page, the measure is intended to regulate traffic, reduce congestion, enhance public safety, and ensure smoother traffic flow. The office also called on truck drivers to strictly adhere to all traffic rules and instructions in order to safeguard lives and property.
