Two more bodies have been discovered following the Mai Mahiu flood tragedy raising the death toll to 58. A follow up report on the incident released by Mai Mahiu police station said the multiagency team managed to recover the bodies a male adult and one minor. According to the report, total recovered remains of male adults now stand at 10. It said 16 bodies of female adults have so far been recovered as well as 16 bodies of male minors. On the morning of Monday, April 29, residents of Old Kijabe town and villages within Mai Mahiu were woken up by roaring sounds of raging waters.
