Furthermore, there is no government need, nor will there ever be a need, for such software,” he added. Earlier on, Kiptoo dismissed claims that he had been sued over a plan to acquire spying software. The PS noted that the article features his image and implicates him in an alleged plan to acquire classified technology for propaganda purposes.
