A judicial inquiry will be conducted into the attack on Gono Odhikar Parishad President Nurul Haque Nur, according to Chief Advsior’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam. Speaking outside the State Guest House Jamuna on Saturday, he confirmed that the decision was made during a meeting led by Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus. You all know that an outrageous attack took place on Nur. He is unwell and receiving treatment.”Shafiqul also noted that Nazmul Hasan, leader of the student wing of Gono Odhikar Parishad, was attacked during the same incident. “They are saying around 50 people were injured.”The judicial probe will be led by a High Court justice, he confirmed.
