Speaking in an interview on TV3 on Friday, February 13, 2025, Kodua said the idea is not on the party’s agenda. “This is something that hasn’t come to the table, and I don’t see why the party would want to change leadership in Parliament at this time,” he said. Kodua praised the performance of the NPP’s Minority leadership under Alexander Kwamena Afenyo-Markin, describing their work in Parliament as impressive. Amid circulating rumors of leadership changes, Kodua made it clear that the NPP leadership stands firmly behind its current parliamentary team.
