Former Prime Minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan has issued a message from his jail cell in which he expressed worry over the plight of Afghan refugees, who are being forced to leave Pakistan. “The way Afghan refugees are being treated goes against the religion of Islam, the Book of Allah, the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him), and our social values,”Khan stated, reminding the nation of their morals and beliefs. Imran Khan also said that many of the incoming migrants are among the poorest, and that managing this situation without respect, compassion, and wisdom might lead to bad feelings among the whole Afghan community. “The policy of treating Afghan refugees like a herd of sheep should be abandoned.
