On Sept 9, 2018, Stuffle was caught at Cheddi Jagan International Airport (CJIA) in Guyana with 1.14kg of cocaine. A court sentenced her to four years in jail and fined her $2.3 million on Sept 14 that year. She had been preparing to fly to New York’s JFK Airport when she was detained in Guyana. Initial tests by the Department of Narcotics Control confirmed the substance was cocaine. The haul weighed 8.66kg, with an estimated street value of Tk 1.3 billion, making it the largest seizure of cocaine at the Dhaka airport.
