A subtle Fabio Silva gesture on his return to Benfica has caused consternation in Portugal. Benfica trail city rivals Sporting by a point in the title race, and were handed a 5-0 hammering by third placed Porto at the Dragao last weekend. But sandwiched in between his formative years at the Dragao was a two-year stint in the Benfica academy. So it's not out of the question that Silva was saying a quiet thanks or an attempting understated keeping of the peace. One thing is for sure - dumping Benfica out will give the natives more to worry about than bit of Porto-based point scoring.
