Lincoln Castle Academy on Riseholme Road would be flattened and rebuilt block by block, offering new facilities for students. The 900-place academy has been identified by the government’s School Rebuilding Programme for facilities which are in poor condition or at the end of their lives. Delta Academy Trust, which runs the school, says it will offer an improved environment for pupils to learn in, with a new teaching block, a separate sports hall block and an outdoor games area.
