With help from the Commercial Communications Council and Stuff, the Cannes Young Lions Competition is returning to Aotearoa New Zealand after a five year hiatus. The competition will consist of two categories: Media and Print and gives young ad hotshots an opportunity to represent Aotearoa in the Young Lions competition at the 70th Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. Taking place each year, the Young Lions competition challenges young creatives from every corner of the communications industry and aims to celebrate the next generation of creative leaders. Winners of the competition will represent Aotearoa at the Young Lions Global Competition, where they will compete against their international counterparts for the global crown. “We are so pleased to bring Young Lions back to Aotearoa”, says Comms Council CEO Simon Lendrum.
