CAIRO – 9 August 2021: Cairo international airport received, Monday the first patch of Johnson & Johnson Vaccine against coronavirus. According to the Ministry of Health, this shipment which included 21,600 doses of the vaccine, will be will be assigned to travelers. Health Ministry Spokesman Khaled Megahed said the shipment will undergo tests at the labs of The Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA). The spokesman also urged citizens to register their names again at the ministry's website to get vaccinated. Health Minister Hala Zayed said last month that Egypt will receive 148.2 million doses of coronavirus vaccine between August and the year end.
