Speaking to the C5N news agency, Arias said that Bautista had recounted what had happened at the time of the attack. Following the attack, Bautista eventually escaped from the property and ran to hide in the boot of the nearby car, staying there for the next several hours. The case is just one of a number of femicides in Argentina in recent weeks to have made national headlines.
