A 60-year-old woman was murdered and her body found dumped in a coffee plantation in Kahiro village, Kirinyaga County. According to witnesses, the woman’s body was found dumped in the plantation, with Ksh 1500 left in her pocket. It was reported that unknown assailants accosted the woman on her way home killing her and dumping her body just 500 metres away from her home. “There was a young police officer killed at the scene, today, it is a woman. The killing is one among the many femicide cases that have been reported in the country this year only.
