Honor will unveil a new affordable phone called Play 5 Vitality on Monday, and just four days later we’ll see two shiny new devices - the Honor X30 Max and Honor X30i. Their design was revealed by the company on Weibo when it confirmed the October 28 launch at 14:30 local time. The Honor X30i has already leaked online, and we expect a Dimensity 810 chipset, 6.7” LCD with Full HD+ resolution and a 4,000 mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging - nothing extraordinary or unexpected for a midranger. What is surprising is the Honor X30 Max - at a first glance, it looks like the Honor X10 Max, and we’re wondering if the company is really going to reintroduce the same phone with two cameras and updated chipset, or is this some sort of convoluted advert that we’re not getting. The new device is reportedly coming with a 7.09” Full HD+ screen, Dimensity 900 chipset and plenty of storage - up to 256 GB.

Google seems poised to announce a new subscription bundle called “Pixel Pass,” which would combine a new Pixel device with an extended warranty and premium subscriptions for several Google services. It’s unclear how much Pixel Pass would cost, but the documents suggest it will be sold via Google Fi and the Google Store alongside the purchase of a Pixel device. Pixel Pass might also offer a discount compared to paying for the services individually, though there’s currently no indication of how much Pixel Pass might cost. There’s no mention of which Pixel phones the Pixel Pass will be offered with. But given the Pixel 6 event is coming on October 19th, it seems likely that Pixel Pass will be introduced as an accompaniment for the new flagship smartphone.

The manager in charge of the Sri Lankan Wrestling team has “disappeared” in Norway. Sri Lanka Wrestling Association (SLWA) President Sarath Hewawitharana said that Team Manager Donald Indrawansa had left the team and gone missing during the World Wrestling Championships held in Oslo, Norway. Speaking to The Morning, Mr Hewawitharana said that the Manager has suddenly “disappeared” and no one seems to know where he is and what happened to him. He suddenly disappeared the day before he was due to travel back with the team. The SLWA sent a six-member contingent for the 17th World Wrestling Championships which was held in Oslo in Norway from the 2nd to the 10th of October.
