Firefighters were alerted to the Ho Man Tin bus terminus after a woman was dragged under a bus Tuesday afternoon. At 1.09 pm today, a woman was struck by a Route 7B single-deck bus at the Oi Man Estate Bus Terminus and was trapped under the wheels. The firefighters arrived and rescued the woman. She was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in a conscious state. According to sources, the woman rushed out onto the road while the bus was coming out of the terminus, which hit and dragged her under the wheels.

A mentally unstable woman was arrested in Sheung Shui on Monday midnight after she was witnessed hacking a tree with a cleaver, with the whole act caught on tape. The incident happened at Shek Wu Hui Jockey Club Playground at around 11.53 pm yesterday, with a woman in her 40s filmed hacking the tree a dozen times using a cleaver. The force later received another report of sighting a knife-wielding woman on San Fung Avenue and dispatched officers to disarm the woman and make the arrest. Police said the woman Wu, 46, was arrested for possession of an offensive weapon. It is understood that the woman was troubled by relationship problems recently, which triggered the act.

A Foodpanda delivery rider was rushed to the hospital after being struck by a sedan in Fo Tan on Monday morning. Around 11.30 am today, at the junction of Fo Tan Road and Lok King Street, a sedan was turning right to Lek Yuen when it was struck by a Foodpanda delivery rider driving along Fo Tan Road. An off-duty paramedic in a nearby sedan immediately got out of the vehicle to assist the injured biker. The rider fell into a coma and was rushed to the Prince of Wales Hospital by paramedics for emergency medical attention. It is understood that the injured rider suffered multiple bone fractures.
