A worker died on Wednesday after he was said to have lost his footing while working at a ship cradle of Hong Kong Shipyard in Tsing Yi. The incident happened around 9 am this morning, with the man’s colleagues immediately calling for help after the discovery. The worker was rushed to Yan Chai Hospital unconscious and later certified dead after resuscitation attempts.

A coach crashed and flipped onto its side in Tsuen Wan on Tuesday, injuring 23 people. The accident happened at about 5.30 pm on the Texaco Road Flyover near Tai Wo Hau, where police believe the coach was out of control and crashed with a road divider before it flipped onto its side. The coach was carrying 15 women and 12 men, including the driver, when the accident happened. Due to the traffic accident, all Texaco Road (Route Twisk bound) lanes near Castle Peak Road - Tsuen Wan are still being closed to all traffic. A man of South Asian descent died after being struck in the head by a forklift at a To Kwa Wan construction site on Tuesday. The incident happened at around 9 am while the victim was working at a site near the Kowloon City Ferry Pier. He was knocked unconscious and rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, where he was pronounced dead after resuscitation attempts. Police are currently investigating the accident, and the Labour Department also dispatched officers to the scene for follow-up actions.
