Nairobi is hosting a global forum to diminish terrorist recruitment and increase countries civilian capabilities in dealing with threats. The four-day Global Counterterrorism Forum (GCTF) 23rd Coordinating Committee will start on Monday, according to National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC) director Rosalind Nyawira. The forum seeks to promote strategic, long-term approach to prevent and counter terrorism and violent extremist ideologies that underpin it. On Friday, Nyawira said the GCTF has for over a decade led global efforts to counter terrorism and violent extremism. The meeting will also include the EU-led GCTF Oversight and Accountability for Counterterrorism Operations Initiative Transregional Group Meeting.

To get out of being punished, Trump's appeal will have to question the usual parts of fraud.

SEOUL (Xinhua): Two people were killed and several others wounded as a cargo trailer's wheel came off and hit a tourist bus on a South Korean highway, Yonhap news agency said Sunday. A back wheel was detached from the trailer driving toward the capital Seoul on an expressway in Gyeonggi province at about 4:09pm local time (0709 GMT). The detached tire ran over the median strip and broke through the windshield of the tourist bus, which was driving on the opposite lane. A bus driver and a passenger sitting diagonally behind the driver were killed after being hit by the tire. The police were investigating the trailer driver in his 60s to determine the cause of the accident.

A Reliance spokesperson didn’t immediately respond to a query on the signing of the binding pact. Disney owns a minority stake in broadcast service provider, Tata Play Ltd., which Reliance may consider acquiring, according to local news reports. Disney has been grappling with challenges in India such as retaining subscribers and securing coveted media assets, while Reliance has cornered a larger slice of the local media and entertainment businesses in recent years.
