At least 26 terrorists, including from the banned TTP and Al-Qaeda, who had planned to target important buildings in different cities were arrested from across the Punjab province of Pakistan, law enforcement claimed on Saturday (February 14, 2026). Weapons, explosives and other prohibited materials were also recovered from the possession of the 26, including five “dangerous terrorists of Al-Qaeda and Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP)” from different parts of the province during the last one month, Punjab Police said in a statement. The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of Punjab Police conducted 286 intelligence-based operations in different districts of the province, questioned 286 suspects and arrested 26 terrorists along with weapons, explosives and other prohibited materials, it said. The CTD said the terrorists had planned to target important buildings in different cities. The terrorists were nabbed from Lahore, Sargodha, Sahiwal, Khushab, Mianwali, Bhakkar, Faisalabad, Jhang, Chakwal, Rajanpur, Narowal and Pakpattan.

Actor-filmmaker Dhanush has been served a legal notice by Thenandal Films for allegedly delaying a project he signed in 2016, with the production house seeking Rs 20 crore in compensation. According to the notice, the production company claims that Dhanush had signed for their film titled 'Naan Rudhran' in 2016, but later opted out of the project, promising the banner that he would direct and star in an another film under their production. The production house claimed that they invested nearly Rs 20 crore as advance payments and pre-production expenses, including payments made to actors such as Nagarjuna and SJ Suryah who were expected to be part of the project. However, after ten years, the production house has accused Dhanush of stalling the project midway after failing to deliver a complete script.

जागरण संवाददाता, नोएडा। नोएडा में सेक्टर-39 थाना क्षेत्र के सेक्टर-107 में दादरी रोड के पास सर्विस रोड पर कार में युवक-युवती के गोली लगे शव मिले। आशंका है कि प्रेम-प्रसंग में युवक-युवती ने गोली मारकर आत्महत्या की है। दोनों की पहचान सुमित पुत्र राजवीर निवासी त्रिलोकपुरी, दिल्ली, उम्र-32 वर्ष और रेखा पुत्री देवचंद निवासी सलारपुर, सेक्टर-101 नोएडा, उम्र-26 वर्ष के रूप में हुई है। राहगीर ने दी पुलिस को दी सूचना पुलिस के मुताबिक, राहगीर ने शनिवार दोपहर करीब एक बजे अल्ट्रोज मॉडल की सफेद कार में दो लोगों के लहूलुहान अवस्था में होने की सूचना दी थी। पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची तो कार अंदर से लॉक थी।पुलिस ने शीशा तोड़कर दोनों को बाहर निकाला। फोरेंसिक टीम बुलाकर साक्ष्य भी जुटाए। युवक के हाथ में पिस्टल मिली और दोनों के सिर में गोली लगी थी। कल सुबह से युवक और शाम से गायब थी युवती पुलिस से मिली जानकारी के अनुसार मृतक सुमित कल सुबह से ही अपने घर से निकल गया था, जिसके बाद उसका कोई पता नहीं था। वहीं शुरुआती जांच में सामने आया है कि युवती शुक्रवार शाम करीब सात बजे कंपनी से निकली थी लेकिन उसके बाद वह घर नहीं पहुंची थी जिसकी स्वजन से सेक्टर 58 थाना पुलिस से की थी।। युवती सेक्टर 62 में एक कंपनी में काम करती थी।
