The spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population pointed out that about 153 fever hospitals were developed during the Corona virus pandemic at a cost of 438 million pounds. “The cost of the plasma derivatives project amounted to 423 million pounds,” said the spokesperson. He further added that an ambulance facility was developed through 84 projects at a cost of 4 billion and 159 million pounds, while the cost of projects for public health initiatives amounted to 5.99 billion pounds.

The project, launched per the instructions of President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi, aims to rehabilitate canals with total lengths of 20,000 km at a cost of L.E. The rehabilitation of canals with lengths of up to 4,080 km is underway, in addition to providing financial funds to rehabilitate canals with lengths of 2,728 km in preparation for putting them up for implementation, bringing the total lengths covered by the project to date to 12,050 km . Egyptian player Omar Khaled Rizk won the Brazilian state championship in San Paulo for the sport of kung fu paulista on Monday morning, in which 600 players participated. Rizk, 29, was born in Brazil in 1993 to Egyptian parents. CAIRO – 20 June 2022: Egypt’s Irrigation Minister Mohamed Abdel Ati held a meeting with officials to discuss the outcomes of an Egyptian delegation visit to Iraq to study the establishment of a water treatment plant on the Euphrates River. According to a statement by the Ministry of Irrigation on Monday, a report was discussed during the meeting to establish a treatment plant in Iraq that is similar to Egypt’s Bahr El-Baqar wastewater treatment plant. The Iraqi plant will operate to purify and desalinate water at the Euphrates River to face the decrease in the river’s water in the three Iraqi governorates of Nasiriyah, Diwaniyah, and Basra, according to the ministry. Egypt - Minister of Finance Mohamed Maait said that the state’s general budget for the new FY is the largest in Egypt’s history, as it exceeds EGP 3 trillion. Its total expenditures, according to estimates, are about EGP 2.71 trillion, while the total estimated revenues are EGP 1.18 trillion and EGP 18bn. He added that in implementation of the president’s directives, the allocations for health and education have been increased in the new budget to meet the constitutional entitlement. The total allocations for the university and pre-university education sector amounted to EGP 476.3bn, and EGP 79.3bn for scientific research. Also, the total allocations to the health sector amounted to EGP 310bn.
