CAIRO – 22 June 2022: Egypt will be able to provide a strategic stockpile of medicines, vaccines and serums at a cost of L.E. 2.1 billion, according to Spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population Hossam Abdel Ghaffar. The spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population pointed out that about 153 fever hospitals were developed during the Corona virus pandemic at a cost of 438 million pounds. “The cost of the plasma derivatives project amounted to 423 million pounds,” said the spokesperson. He further added that an ambulance facility was developed through 84 projects at a cost of 4 billion and 159 million pounds, while the cost of projects for public health initiatives amounted to 5.99 billion pounds.
