I had been tabling with Cornell Progressives, talking to families about the University’s crackdown on student protest. President Kotlikoff and the administration are not neutral, they are picking and choosing which students to protect and which to punish. Growing up near a library that offered community art projects and always loving art in school, Nwakuche really started getting serious about her craft in her senior year of high school. Though she works with textiles and photography now, Nwakuche came into Cornell as a painter. Courtesy of Havily NwakucheThe most powerful aspect of art to Nwakuche is its impact.
