Resident Surgeon of NIBPS, Dr Shawon Bin Rahman, confirmed that the patient released. The patient, Abidur Rahim Abid, an 11-year-old class V student of Milestone School and College, was admitted to the burn institute on July 21, 2025, the day of the incident. “With Abid's discharge, all 36 injured patients from the Milestone School and College tragedy have now been released following treatment,” Dr Rahman said. The incident occurred on July 21, 2025, when a Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) fighter jet crashed into a two-storey building of Milestone School and College’s Uttara branch minutes after taking off at around 1:00 pm.
