Loughborough swimmer Daniel Wiffen has sent a warning to his rivals ahead of Paris by stating he’s “going to win a medal” this summer. “I want to go into the games knowing that I'm going to win a medal,” Wiffen told Loughborough Sport. “My goal is to put as much work in as possible before so that I have no doubt in my mind that I'm going to do it. We joined Loughborough at the same time, and we've been training ever since together, pushing each other on. Give him a year and I reckon we'll be going at the same time - I don't mind after this year; he can go as quick as he wants!
