“King of the Hill,” co-created by Judge (“Beavis and Butthead,” “Silicon Valley”) and future “The Office” czar Greg Daniels, has been off the air for 15 years. Much of what’s been altered about “King of the Hill,” however, lies outside the creative team’s direct control. But the most enjoyable aspects of “King of the Hill” are arguably timeless. Divorced sad sack Bill (Stephen Root) is so depressed by Hank’s absence he’s become an overweight shut-in; in just a couple episodes, he’s back to sipping alley beers in his stained undershirt. All 10 episodes of “King of the Hill” Season 14 will be available to stream on Hulu on August 4.
