Ernest Norgbey, MP, Ashaiman, has regretted his actions of seizing the chair of the Speaker of Parliament when chaos erupted in the Chamber on Wednesday, December 1, 2021. He told Joy FM on Tuesday, December 7, that the incident that occurred in the Chamber was unfortunate and he apologizes for his action. “There is nothing wrong when you err, you just apologize to the very person you erred against. There was chaos in Parliament after the First Deputy Speaker, Joseph Osei-Owusu gave a ruling which didn’t favour the Minority Caucus. Defending his actions, the MP told TV3 that he did nothing wrong relocating the seat of the Speaker of Parliament.
