Yukon Public Libraries welcomes CBC Kids Book Club Live

The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) Kids Book Club Live is heading to the Whitehorse Public Library on Wednesday, May 10. CBC Kids hosts Janaye and Gary the Unicorn will share their love of reading at a free special event. The visit will include musical story times featuring special guest authors Georgette McLeod, author of Shëtsey (My Grandpa) and Tedd Tucker, author of The Yukon Alphabet Book. Musical story time events will start at 10:30 am and 1:15 pm, followed by a meet and greet with the hosts and authors. CBC Kids’ mandate is to inform, enlighten and entertain Canadian kids from ages two to 13 and their caregivers on CBC TV, CBC Gem, cbckids.ca and cbckidsnews.ca.
