Stephen MaguireAn elderly woman has been seriously injured in a road traffic collision in Co Donegal. The woman, who is in her 70s, was a pedestrian. She was struck by a vehicle in the village of Bruckless in the south of the county on Saturday night. The incident happened at approximately 6:20pm on the N56 road through the village. The injured woman was rushed from the scene by ambulance to hospital for treatment for what have been described as serious injuries.
