The new manager of the Winnipeg Goldeyes is no stranger to the American Association of Professional Baseball. Winnipeg has tapped Greg Tagert as the fourth manager in franchise history, a Thursday news release from the team said. Tagert, 59, has 27 years of professional baseball experience, including managing the Gary SouthShore RailCats from 2005 to 2021. The Goldeyes open the 2023 season on May 11 on the road against the RailCats.
