Wind-whipped wildfires tore through parts of Hawaii on Wednesday, resulting in the destruction of structures in historic Lahaina Town on the island of Maui. As a result, evacuations were ordered, and some residents sought refuge in the ocean, where they were eventually rescued by the U.S. Coast Guard.
