William “Bill” Read Glass, 85, of Trussville, AL passed away on January 31st, 2024 at home with family by his side. Bill was born on December 26th, 1938 to Marvin and Kossie Glass of Anniston. Lt. Col. Darryl Glass; son Gary Glass (Mandy). Grandchildren Dr. Matthew Smith (Virginia), Adam Smith (Brittany), Daniel Smith (Kaylyn), Gordon Eads (Kristen), Zachary Eads, Amber Thackerson (Reid), Bradley Glass (Taylor), and Garrett Glass. He is also survived by his brother-in-law Hal Buckelew of Oneonta, AL and multiple nieces and nephews.
