Mike Riley, former Nebraska football coach, has joined the College Football Playoff Selection Committee just as the event expands to 12 teams. Riley replaces Pat Chun, who stepped down when he became the new Washington athletic director. "We are pleased to have Mike join the committee," CFP Executive Director Bill Hancock said. "He has significant experience as a player and coach, and he loves college football. Riley played collegiately at Alabama, called plays at USC, and served as head coach at Oregon State and Nebraska.
