The super-yacht is named after Pangea, the supercontinent that existed millions of centuries ago during the late Paleozoic and early Mesozoic eras. That's the latest concept from Lazzarini, the Italian design firm, which showcased its layout for Pangeos, a floating city that could become the world's largest boat. Pangeos will be approximately 1,800 feet long and 2,000 feet wide. Pangeos' wings will be intended to extract energy from the sea's waves, allowing it to cruise indefinitely without emitting greenhouse gases. While sailing, the large wings will gain energy from the breaking of the waves and Pangeos will cruise perpetually without emissions around the planet Earth's seas.
