Thousands of people flocked to Tuam in August for two sold-out concerts by the band on the grounds of St Jarlath’s College. However, a domino effect of other concerts in Ireland next year has resulted in West Awake 2024 not being possible. It means that the two concerts during next year’s Galway Arts Festival in the Big Top will be the only Galway gigs for the much-loved band next year.
