PETALING JAYA: Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Dr Noraini Ahmad has resigned. The Wanita Umno chief said based on a decision made by the Umno supreme council on Aug 3, she has agreed with the party’s decision to resign from her post as Higher Education Minister. “As the Wanita Umno chief, I agree to resign from my post with immediate effect as Cabinet minister. “I would like to express my gratitude to the Prime Minister for giving me the opportunity to serve as the Higher Education Minister in the government. Noraini was appointed on March 10, 2020, by Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
