Vihiga County Commissioner Felix Watakila has asked DCI officers in his county to up their game in taming cases of security. Watakila faulted the DCI for laxity over the rising cases of insecurity. While addressing the press in his office, Watakila said DCI in Vihiga County have only one week to arrest key suspects in recent murders that have been taking place in Luanda town and Emuhaya respectively. "If DCI officers in this County are not willing to arrest those criminals, they are free to park and leave and we have new investigating officers who will do their job as required," Watakila said. "Why it is taking them too long to arrest those suspected criminals we are yet to understand."
