Only 18 per cent of units currently have a dedicated social work unit, while 7 per cent have independent social work teams. Conference delegates recommended the establishment of social work departments in hospitals or, alternatively, the formation of Social Work Groups. It comes as part of the activities to celebrate the 93rd anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) (November 18, 1930-2023) and Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23).
